Watch Premiere of After Further Review Tonight at 9pm!

It is one of the few times that I can ever remember that I am actually excited about Monday!!  Tonight is the premiere of our 9pm sports show.  It is called After Further Review.  You can watch tonight at 9pm on the NEWS 25 Sports Channel. 

I have worked on every aspect of this show since December.  It is unlike any local programming.  It is a fast moving sports opinion show.  All sports topics are in play:  Local, Regional, National, funny topics, odd topics, etc.

My co-host is NEWS 25 Reporter Sean Clark-Weis.  He is ate up with sports just like me.  We will be going back and forth on the show looking at topics at all angles.

The third segment each night is called Mailbox.  We will answer all of your tweets, facebook posts, or emails.  Be a part of the very first show!  Here is how you can get your question or topic on the show:

24 Hour NEWS 25 Sports Channel is Born!

The NEWS 25 digital channel is now the NEWS 25 Sports Channel!  That's right a 24 hour local sports channel!!  I have dreamed about something so awesome, but it is actually coming true. 

The NEWS 25 Sports Channel will launch August 1st on NEWS 25-2. 

As you already know, we are going to broadcast the Home Team Friday/Vincennes Unviversity Game of the Week for 13 straight weeks of High School Football.  We are also going to do 8 high school basketball games this winter.

We are going to broadcast LIVE every single USI mens basketball home game.  I will be doing play by play on all of the live broadcasts.  I LOVE doing play by play.  When I went to college...doing play by play is what I wanted to do.  I look forward to continuing to improve my craft.

Also during the basketball season, Eagles head coach Rodney Watson and I will host his coaches show.  It will more than likely be live on Mondays at 9pm.  It will be a full 30-minute show.  Coach and I will breakdown highlights of all Eagles home and road games.  We will also give you stories off the court as we get to know the players.

The IHSAA has launched a new television network.  NEWS 25 Sports Channel has been awarded a three-year contract to be the exclusive home to 22 State Championships each school season.  We have worked closely with the great people of the IHSAA this past year to make this happen. 

The first local programming you will see is our nightly 9pm sports show.  It is called After Further Review.  It will be hosted myself and Sean Clark-Weis.  It will be a fast-moving show that is full of opinions and viewer feedback.   You can watch After Further Review every weeknight at 9pm.

When we are not in local programming you will be able to watch the Wazoo Sports Network.  Wazoo was started in 2007 and features broadcasts of Kentucky high school, college, and pro sports.  Wazoo Sports also replays classic University of Kentucky basketball games.

To top it all off, wait until you see how sweet our new sports set is!!  It is going to be AWESOME!  It is under construction now and should be finished by next week.  I cannot wait to call our new set home!!  Thanks to the good peeps at Don Moore Automotive for sponsoring the set!

I have a lot on my plate, but I wouldn't want it any other way!  This journey is exciting.  There is a lot to get done, and I certainly look forward to any feedback or questions you might have.

The actual NEWS 25 Sports Channel launches on Sunday August 1st, and our first local program will be Monday August 2nd After Further Review at 9pm.
