Heritage Hills at Jasper Tonight!

Heritage Hills vs. Jasper is one of my favorite rivalries in high school football. I have covered this game numerous times in 18 years, but tonight for the first time I get to call the action.
I will be doing play by play for the Wildcats hosting the Patriots at Alumni Stadium. The broadcast is our Game of the Week on the NEWS 25 Sports Channel. You can also watch the game live online by CLICKING HERE.
One of my favorite memories of this series was in 1996. The Patriots had never beaten Jasper, and it's hard to believe now but HH had never won a sectional. The two schools drew each other in the first round of the 3A Sectional. The game was at The Jungle and it was an insane atmosphere. The one play I distinctly remember was a 4th and 1 for the Patriots around midfield....Bob Clayton elected to go for it. Jasper pinched in the line up front, but Pats quarterback Jade Winchell still ran a quarterback sneak. Winchell busted through the line, and there was no one back in the Cats secondary. Winchell scored a go-ahead TD. Jasper's field goal came up short and the Patriots won 24-21. Heritage Hills went on to win its first sectional and regional titlle.
What will tonight bring? Hard to predict. Jasper has a massive offensive line, but you can't ever count out any Bob Clayton coached team.
I can't wait! Tune in tonight to find out which team goes to 4-0.
