Lance,I'm in love with Cal. I wonder if he would like to meet my granddaughter, Hannah. She is just as sweet and just turned 3 on August 10th! AND she is a Southern Belle too. I understand that Cal was named after Cal Ripkin. I got to meet Cap Ripkin last year as he was an inspirational speaker at our hospital Foundation annual celebration. After it was all over, I went to the Foundation and asked if his presentation was taped. It was and they only had about 5 copies. They gave me a copy which I shared with my 15 year old grandson who is the catcher on his HS Baseball team and is on Diamond Scout reports. Cal is now his hero and we are praying that he keeps him as a role model and mentor. Thanks for sharing Cal with the world. After all, I am in South Carolina. Did you know that he was being shared all over this fine country?

Lance, I forgot to mention, that I have known your Mom longer than YOU!. I met her in High School in Indianapolis. She was so beautiful and was quiet and shy. We have recently been reconnected through FB and we are having the time of our lives getting to know about what has transpired over the past 40 years or so. It is so good to hear about families, the successes, and unfortunately the traumas that have faced each other.
Your sucess in Evansville is not surprising either. I am originally from Princeton, IN and my Dad had his office in Evansville. We still have family there and when we viist, I make sure to watch sports with Lance!
