Week 4 NFL Power Rankings

How crazy has this league been this year? Just when you think you have a team figured out…it turns out you know nothing!

What did we learn from week 4?  The Bears offensive line is what we thought they were: garbage.  The Saints offense is still rusty.  The Colts are still suffering from a Super Bowl hangover.  The 49ers are the undisputed champs at finding different ways to lose.  The Dolphins special teams is as good as the Bears offensive line.  And finally, if you are going to flip off the referees, make sure the cameras are not on you!

On to the rankings:

TOP TEN

1. JETS – They deserve to be up here as much as anyone else.  I’m still not a total believer.

2. RAVENS – My Super Bowl pick is getting it together.  Nice final drive by Flacco.

3. STEELERS – Hard to dock them too much with a hobo at quarterback.

4. SAINTS – They are nowhere near 2009 form.

5. PATRIOTS – Defense is still suspect, but they turned the Dolphins inside-out.

6. CHIEFS – Coming off the bye we’ll find out how good KC is this week in Indy.

7. FALCONS – I wanted to put ATL higher, although they really should’ve lost to SF.

8. TEXANS – Houston responds well in Oakland after the Texans embarrassing loss to Dallas.

9. COLTS – I still think it is good for them to be 2-2.  They need their backs up against the wall.

10. PACKERS – Barf

BOTTOM FIVE

1. PANTHERS

2. LIONS

3. BILLS

4. 49ERS

5. RAIDERS

Again, if you are going to the Ravens that high, you should have them ranked over the team they BEAT in week 1.

The Ravens lost to the BENGALS! Come one now. That was just 2 weeks ago. The Jets lost in week one.

Take your Ravens blinders off!

No real dominate easy number one team out there this year....

I agree, Tom. I think one of the biggest surprises for me (along with the Chiefs and 49ers) is the Packers lack of dominance. I expected them to easily be 4-0 and blowing teams out of the water, which they aren't.

Glad to see the Browns drop out of the bottom five.
