Jamey Carroll Heading to LA

My apologies for not updating the last few days.  I've been slammed at work, and finished my Christmas shopping!

I do have some good news.  Newburgh's own Jamey Carroll is signing a 2 year contract to play for the Dodgers!  He will join up with Evansville's Don Mattingly in LA.

Jamey is a true pro athlete role model.  I have said it many times on the air, but if you have a youngster that wants to look up to a big leaguer, Jamey defines hard work and integrity.

My small claim to fame is playing on the same Babe Ruth team with him many moons ago.  I was the shortstop and he was the second baseman. 

I love the west coast and Los Angeles!  What a climate change from Cleveland to LA!

Good Luck Jamey with your new team.  Hopefully the Dodgers will be smart enough to start you in the beginning of the season!!
