Next Notre Dame Head Coach: Brian Kelly

Media outlets all over are reporting that Cincinnati head coach Brian Kelly will take over the Notre Dame football program.

Neither school has confirmed the hire, but an announcement could come as soon as tomorrow or possible even tonight.

Kelly has his Bearcats unbeaten and playing Florida in the Sugar Bowl.  Kelly will more than likely start at Notre Dame right away and not coach the Bearcats in the bowl.

Tonight, the Bearcats have their football banquet, and media has been barred from attending.

I hope Kelly can be the successful head coach ND is looking for.

I'm sure ND wishes they could've but, in the college game, the names just weren't there. Could see BK excelling though.

that might be the toughest coaching gig in college. Unreal fan and alumni expectations and tougher than nails academics.
